Work Experience 15, 25 and 35
These courses provide students the opportunity to explore and expand their career interests, skills and knowledge related to work and other life roles. Work Experience allows students to gain practical experience that will assist them in making wiser decisions regarding their future education, training and employment upon leaving High School and allow for a smoother transition from school to work and/or post-secondary institutions.
'Workplace Safety Systems' (HCS 3000) is the required pre-requisite of the first work experience course taken by a student.
'Job Preparation' (CTR 1010) and 'Preparing for Change' (CTR 3010 are strongly recommended for students who take more than one Work Experience course.
One credit is earned for every 25 hours of experience.
