New student registration

If you are new to Edmonton or not registered in any school, you can register online. The process depends on your age and living situation:

• Students 18+ (or 16+ independent): You may complete the registration process yourself.
• Students under 18: A parent or guardian must complete the registration process for you.

Outreach Programs accepts registrations from resident students new to the Division throughout the school year. In most cases, a resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic.

Pre-enrolment for students already enrolled in an Edmonton Public school 

If you are entering Grade 11 or 12 and you'd like to attend a Learning Store next year, select your preferred location in SchoolZone between 8 a.m. on February 2, 2026 and 4 p.m. on March 25, 2026.

• • Students 18+ (or 16+ independent): You can pre-enrol yourself on SchoolZone.
  • Students under 18: A parent or guardian must log in to SchoolZone to pre-enrol you.
