Students wanting to register at a Learning Store must be a Canadian citizen or have landed immigrant status, and must be under the age of 20 on September 1st. A birth certificate is required if registering from outside Edmonton Public Schools.
All new students must attend a registration intake interview and orientation. The process takes approximately 40 minutes and encompasses a review of learning requirements and expectations. This review also gives an overview of our Learning and Career Pathways program requirement as well as High School graduation requirments, course outlines, materials, evaluation of learning and a timeline schedule for the completion of courses. Students will receive their first assignment and course material at this time.
Students who are on blended programs or who wish to take courses at two schools are expected to obtain permission from their regular school before registering at the Learning Store. This is essential to ensure that all of a student's learning credits are properly reported. Students are required to contact their school counsellor or administrator in order to obtain a letter of permission.
Bus passes are available for purchase for students in good standing.
Students who have a change of address or phone number during the year are required to notify their Learning Store.
